MIT Anime club a real life Genshiken

Man when i saw this i can only think damn that´s otaku equivalent of a dragon hoard, from manga to anime to star trek, that really cool place and i confess that i feel no small amout of envy, since i tried that and got rejected faster than you can say MOE.




But i think this place is great not only because of the hoard but the they also got some talented people form winning cosplay contest and manga contest.

If you are planning on enter the MIT i seriously check this place out.

Warner Bros acquired Death Note rigths for a live action movie

At this point if you don´t know about Death Note i can think of 3 reasons, one you just entered the treacherous (yet delightful)world of Japanese media, second you live in a remote cave in a desolate island and considering that there satellite internet now days that's very remote and last you come from another world but ahem.

The dudes at Warner put Charley and Vlas Parlapanides (they wrote, produced and directed Everything For A Reason and War of the gods) so somethin cool can be expected.

I heard that the movie would be faithful to the manga and please please for the love of anime gods lets hope its not another dragon ball evolution in the making.
